Alpiq Generation has adopted and implemented the integrated environmental management system (EMS) EN ISO 14001 and occupational health & safety (OHS) system OHSAS 18001. The system has been carefully selected to achieve our overall objectives in the areas of environment, health & safety. This new system is proving its worth and appears to have achieved its purpose of creating continuously improving working conditions. Our establishment of the integrated EMS and OHS system is also strongly supported by our owner, Alpiq, the Swiss energy leader.

The environmental management system under EN ISO 14001 has been used to manage our business activities since 2004.
